The chain was made from two vintage puffy heart bracelets, joined into a single substantial necklace. Nothing here was bought as a set. Taking pieces that already have their own lives and forcing a new conversation between them. There's something about the kitsch deer from the 1950s, paired with the puffy heart chain from the 1980s, that makes it explosively sweet. I had one puffy heart bracelet for two years before I found its match, and the deer pin was its own separate find.
