The seed pearl halo remains. The antique gold still has its warmth. She intervened. Two hand-carved 14K gold heads were soldered directly onto the body of the ring: a panther crouched at the crown, and a cherub face below, haloed by the ring’s original seed pearls. The panther brings a quiet threat. The cherub brings the wrong kind of innocence.
