Dimensions
The Bat Measures 7mm in height in the middle of the ring where it is the largest. The band is graduated and tapers to 2.5 mm's in the back.

Construction
No vintage parts were used in the making of this piece. I sculpted the original in wax and made a mold of it with which to make future small runs. It is all designed and made by me, Karen Yost, in my studio in N.Y.C.

A tiny nocturnal universe, hand-fabricated in gold by Karen Yost in NYC.
The bat is caught mid-flight, wings fully extended and wrapped around the band like it chose the finger first. The moon and star are not decoration, they’re coordinates. A crescent moon waits on one side of the shank. A five-pointed star waits on the other. Together, they read like a private nocturnal map—small enough to wear every day, strange enough to be recognized by the right people.
This is a House Relic, fully designed and madein NYC by Karen Yost in 14K or 18K gold. The bat carries deep surface texture, wing membrane detail, and that slightly unhinged face that makes it unmistakably Relic. Creepy-cute, and entirely aware of the darkness.
Available with optional black diamonds, white diamonds, or both, placed by request into the eyes, wing tips, moon, star, or body. Each configuration is discussed before fabrication, because darkness should be handled precisely. Reach out HERE if you would like to make the piece custom.
