This leopard did not arrive with this chain, but she was clearly waiting for it. The pendant is a vintage 14K gold leopard, coiled in motion and covered in amber enamel with black rosette detail. At her neck, a pavé diamond collar catches the light.
The chain is a separate vintage 14K gold S-link, chosen for the way its shape echoes the curve of the leopard’s body. It has that serpentine, architectural movement that makes the whole necklace feel intentional instead of simply assembled. The pendant and chain were found apart, but together they make more sense than most things that were made as a set.
This is the Relic eye at work: not just sourcing, but recognizing when two old pieces belong in the same future. My intervention is in the pairing.
The result is a necklace with real presence and no need to explain itself. Wildness, gold, enamel, diamonds, and the very particular pleasure of wearing something nobody else will have.
One of one because the materials made that decision first.

Care
Vintage enamel should be treated with respect. Do not submerge this necklace in water, and do not use ultrasonic cleaners. Keep away from perfume, hairspray, lotions, and harsh chemicals. Put the necklace on after applying anything scented or sprayed.
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Store the pendant and chain carefully so the enamel does not press against harder pieces or sharp edges. Have the diamond collar checked periodically by a qualified bench jeweler if worn often.
This leopard has already lived one life. Let her keep all nine.
