18K gold bird body with ruby eye.
14k gold fish tail and 12K bail.

Dimensions
The charm measures 2 1/4" from the top of the bail to the bottom of the fish tail. The bail is oversized and will fit over most chains. It is 9mm wide and 4mm tall.

Origins
Vintage Elements: The bird body was a pin from the 1940's. The vintage fish tail is from a charm from the 1950's. The bail is from yet another vintage item, a gold pocket watch.
Newly Fabricated Elements: 14K gold joins and bench work by 

Some pieces begin with a design. This one began with three vintage pieces of jewelry that had no reason to end up together.

The bird came from a vintage 14K gold pin. The fish tail came from a separate vintage charm. The fancy bail was originally on a pocket watch. Each piece had already lived its own small life before I found them, took them apart, and rebuilt them as one body.

The result is part bird, part fish, and fully Anomaly. The articulated tail moves when the piece is worn, shifting against the body and catching the light with every small motion. It has the strange logic of something from a myth, except this one is real, wearable, and made to live on your chain.

It is completely one of a kind. There is no edition, no second casting, and no version waiting to be restocked. When this creature is claimed, it leaves the Reliquary for good.

Collected like evidence. Kept like a secret. Passed down like a spell.

This relic contains vintage components and an articulated tail, so it should be handled with care. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear, store it separately to protect the moving tail and surface detail, and avoid ultrasonic cleaners.

It has already had more than one life. Treat it like it should have several more.
