The Hook
They were never supposed to meet, and they were definitely never supposed to become earrings. Yet here they are.
I found the first vintage 14K gold clown charm from a jeweler friend of mine and then came across its exact match months later and miles away. Same face. Same frown. Same unmistakable air of irritation.
Once the second clown appeared, the decision was obvious. The two charms were paired with vintage 14K gold lever backs and rebuilt as earrings, where they now hang with the quiet menace.
